for more details a) Advanced
Data Warehouse Workshop: Multi-dimensional Clustering
Taught by Joe Cullen

Description: “Advanced Data Warehouse Workshop:
Multi-dimensional Clustering” This updated edition of our
advanced Multidimensional Data Modeling (MDDM) workshop now includes more
exercises, modeling guidelines, heuristics, and metrics. Learn the base and
advanced MDDM concepts and techniques. Then concentrate on specific
Relational Online Analytical Processing (ROLAP) & Multidimensional Online
Analytical Processing (MOLAP) design techniques and solving design problems
related to time-varying dimensions. The workshop is a highly interactive
modeling session. Investigate MDDM modeling techniques using a non-trivial
case study. Continue practicing the techniques in a simulated DB2 Universal
Database (UDB) and DB2 OLAP Server environment. Although DB2 OLAP Server is
used as our representative technology, the MDDM to tool mapping concepts
apply to any OLAP implementation. b) DB2 9 For Linux, Unix and Windows Transition Class:
Taught by Joe Cullen

chapter of the International DB2 User Group. We meet 3 times per year at
sites in and around Our meetings consist of a short business meeting (15 minutes) followed by a local speaker - usually a user spotlight. We have a break and then a national-level speaker presents on a topic of interest. After this, our IBM rep takes a few minutes to tell us what is new with DB2. Take our survey and help us better understand our members. |
